Beautiful Porcelain Crowns and Veneers: Case 13
Here is a case where a lateral incisor was lost because of periodontal disease. The patient was not interested in implant therapy to replace the missing tooth. In order to minimize the removal of healthy tooth structure and to have a good cosmetic result I made her a cantilevered bridge. I do these very reluctantly because they are only attached to one tooth rather than two or more so there are some risks associated with this approach. But in this case the benefits exceeded the risks for the patient. The results speak for themselves.
